NO SLEEP FOR ICE

Our generation is fighting back against ICE, Donald Trump and the billionaires who are ruining our lives. Right now ICE  is patrolling our communities, and kidnapping our neighbors off the streets.

We will not allow business as usual to continue while our communities are under attack. We organize in our own communities, stand in solidarity with other communities across the country, and are willing to strike from school and work to shut shit down and build the future we all deserve.

Recruit people from your community to join you in organizing locally by hanging flyers exposing Hilton Hotels.

The MOST impactful thing you can do to get at ICE from the confinements of your own home, is to go after their pockets. We are making and cancelling reservations to shut these hotels down until they stop housing ICE.

Recruit people from your community to join you in organizing and preparing to strike.

1. Organize locally by hanging flyers exposing Hilton Hotels.
2. Together, stand in solidarity with Minneapolis by making and cancelling reservations at Hilton hotels that are housing ICE.

Strike Circles use a toolkit to organize locally and nationally, smvmt.org/nosleep, and join together once a week for a virtual call of training and support.

Wide Awakes are noisy and non-violent protests that use whistles, instruments, car horns/alarms, and other noisemakers to express dissent and disrupt business as usual. You only need a couple of people to be effective.

Because of our Wide Awakes, multiple Twin Cities hotels have kicked ICE agents out or paused operations to remove them.

If we can't sleep, neither will ICE.

Checkout the Wide Awake Guide here.

Students are walking out out of school to demand no ICE in their city, no ICE in school, and no ICE anywhere. We’re answering the call. Check out our guidebook to plan a walkout on your campus here: smvmt.org/riseup
