Come join Sunrise NYC for a training to learn about why energy affordability (and lack there of) is a policy failure. We will cover why our gas and electricity bills so high, how we lower our bills, what will long-term lead to cheaper gas + electricity bills, and how we advocate for energy affordability.
This workshop is an opportunity to meet with experienced coaches, be in community with other new organizers, and get trained to organize a Wheatpasting action Wide Awake, or school Walkout in your community.

That’s why we are fighting the system that upholds corporate monopoly utilities running on dirty fossil fuels. Extremely high delivery charges, unreliable service, dangerous environmental conditions, and millions of New Yorkers behind on their bills is simply not livable.
